My Art Of Whitby

This is a collage of resaurants and food in Whitby and some people in the Magpie Cafe.

This image consists of the Magpie Cafe logo, the Magpie Cafe building, people sat in the Magpie Cafe, a portion of chips, candy floss and rock and Whitby harbour. And then i filtered this image in Photoshop.The image above is the same collage as the one above that but filtered differently.

The image below is another collage which i created. The collage consists of Whitby Abbey with a puddle at its side, a row of boats stuck onto the puddle, behind the abbey are house on both sides and then there is Whitby Harbour. Then i changed the colour of the whole image and then i added a wave effect.

What are the main attraction?

The main attraction of Whitby The Magpie Cafe, a cafe famous for its fabulous Fish and Chips. Whitby Abbey is another, a fabtastic place of ruin and discovery. Gothic Weekend is a holiday specialy presented in Whitby where Goths and regulars go to for the celebration of Dracula etc. And also there are boat rides, donkey rides and a Dracula amusement shop and other amusments too.

Why is Tourism important to communities around the U.K.?

Because it is the main source of income. Tourists travel to a resort, buy products sold by local people and provides money for that shop/company to carry on, also it helps provide jobs for locals.

What is Tourism?

To describe what Tourism is i will have to explain what a tourist is first. A tourist is YOU! YES, YOU! Everyone or atleast nearly everyone has been to a family Resort around Britain and that makes you a tourist: to take the the time to travel to a place other than your home town to take a look around and experience the delights of somewhere new. Right, down to "What is Tourism?" Tourism is where a tourist travel to places of attraction for pleasure.

What is a Resort?

A Resort is a place of leisure and discovery. A place where people of all ages go for a break from regular life and have fun. There are many kinds of resorts e.g. seaside, lakeside, skiing resorts etc, and it is not just in Britain that has resorts, they are scattered all around the world.

Some Resorts in Britain are set out to attract certain targets .g. Butlins, a holiday campsite company usually set near Resorts, is for all ages. Some Resorts are usually based on age, class etc, like Blackpool is set out to target to work in class and Bormouth in set out to target the old age group.
